In one corner of the classroom, you'll find me, Dominique Roddey, a passionate educator dedicated to nurturing young minds. With years of experience in the teaching field, I witnessed the transformative power of education firsthand. But beyond textbooks and lesson plans, I discovered a deeper calling: to ignite creativity, build confidence, and support homeschooling families.

As my journey unfolded, I realized that my passion for education was just the beginning. I yearned to create a space where individuals could thrive creatively, embrace their uniqueness, and prioritize their well-being. And so, Bougie Beginnings was born – a culmination of my experiences as a teacher and my vision for a better future for children.

"Since his first day working with Dominique, our 8-year-old son has shown a bigger interest in learning, and most of all his confidence has been boosted. He finds joy in the learning activities that we do together during the week and feels more positive that he can increase his grades. At the beginning of the year he was failing math, however, with her help I am confident that he can improve as well as do good on his testing. He recently brought home a test that he took and showed us that received a B grade.
